The challenge
Mrs and Mrs E. contacted our team to with the brief to refresh their current bathroom. They were looking for a design that would enable them to keep using a bath into the future, whilst retaining some of the features they already had such as a bidet. They were looking for a contempary aesthetic, rather than something clinical and already knew that they wanted to source their own tiles.
The solution
Our design team worked closely with the couple to specify a contemporary accessible bathroom that really made the most of the available space within the room. The entire bathroom suite would be updated, with the standard bath being replaced by an Abalone walk-in unit. Another selected upgrade was the inclusion of a Closomat Palma Vita wash and dry toilet, enabling independent future-proof bathing.
The outcome
The completed project was a success with the client supplied porcellain floor tiles and ceramic wall tiles working well with the overall contemporary aesthetic. Tile application mirrored the previous bathroom with a half-height installation behind the sink, bidet and toilet. Storage was retained in the new 800mm vanity unit under the sink, and the Sudbury double door LED illuminated mirror cabinet which helps to reflect light and creates a greater sense of space.
