The Challenge
With thousands of successful installations completed and over 20 years of experience creating accessible bathrooms our team often speak to previous happy customers which want to use our services again. Mr and Mrs S were no exception, we completed an adaptation of their ensuite in 2022, and they reached out to us again to quote for the conversion of the family bathroom into an accessible wet room. Mrs S had a preference for using a shower day-to-day over the previously installed walk-in bath, and wanted to ensure that the installation did not to look clinical.
The Solution
Our expert bathroom designer and business director Darren worked closely with the couple to develop and specify an a easy access wet room that maximised the use of the available space within the room. Bi-fold shower doors were selected for easy access and would complement the use of Altro Pisces Safety flooring to be fitted over a Shower Dec former and finished with capped and coved edges.
The Result
This project came together nicely, with the customer selected wall tiles elevating the look and feel of the room. Details like the Nuie Lunar 600 x 445mm wall hung 2 drawer vanity unit look great in anthracite. Whilst the bulletproof Mira Select Flex TMV3 thermostatic shower unit with 2m hose and 1m easy glide riser rail is timeless and transcends bathroom design choices thanks to its beautiful mechanical control.
