The Challenge
Mr and Mrs C initially made contact with us and visited our Henley-on-Thames Showroom to find out more about accessible bathroom design and if it would be possible to refurbish their bathroom and create something that looked both stylish and was futureproof. They had no plans to move, so wanted to ensure that the investment they made would useable as their needs changed over time.
The Solution
A free home visit was arranged where our bathroom designer discussed different layout options with the couple. It was decided that they would like to install a walk-in bath to replace the old corner unit. There was just enough space to fit a 1,500 mm model with a door placed near the right hand wall, ensuring the addition of grab rails for smooth entry and exit. The couple also took the opportunity to specify a futureproof Arizona Vitra Comfort Height toilet and complementary Toreno 600mm Vanity Unit with Basin.
The Result
The couple were extremely happy with the finished result. Their stylish new accessible bathroom was elevated by the use of Salerna Grey Wall Tiles twinned with Altro Pisces Slip Resistant Flooring in its Shoreline colourway. They were so pleased infact that they left us a five-star review for Customer Service, Quality and Value on the Which? Trusted Trader platform.
“It has been over two weeks now since the installation of our Absolute Mobility bathroom so just wanted to post a review. From start to finish we cannot praise them enough. So helpful from first moment we visited showroom in Henley to meeting Darren in our own home to give us an itemised quote. Our fitter (Andy) was superb. Every day he turned up on time and worked non-stop. His workmanship was faultless, and every evening he hoovered and left workplace tidy. We thoroughly recommend Absolute Mobility to anyone requiring future bathroom installations.”
