The challenge
Mr and Mrs H contacted our team looking for a quotation to convert their current bathroom with standard bath into a wheelchair accessible wet room suitable for Mr H. The couple had a very strong vision of what they were looking to achieve with their adaptation, wanting to create a calm space that did not feel clinical or basic.
The solution
Our business director and expert bathroom designer Darren visited the couple and liaised often with them over a number of weeks honing the specification of the bathroom based on their requirements. One of the decisions made involved the couple selecting and supplying their own tiles in a number of finishes, this would allow a feature wall to be created, this is often a good design concept to follow as it creates a focal point in a larger room, and makes for a more unique and personalised space.
The outcome
The stylish wall finish on this project was complemented by the use of Atro Pisces Safety flooring to be fitted over a Shower Dec former and finished with capped and coved edges. Details like the timeless Mira Evoco Dual Head Thermostatic shower with riser rail in chrome harmonised perfectly with our clients choice of mirror and towel rail. This was another job we were very proud to deliver!
